Unique Open Spaces Design for Mariehøj Cultural Center

The young Danish firms, WE ARCHITECTURE and Sophus Søbye Architects have been awarded first prize for their competition entry for a cultural center in Denmark’s Rudersdahl municipality. The future Mariehøj cultural center draws a clear profile in the landscape. This culture center will get a new face with a new foyer. It invites in all people in Ruderdahl’s municipality!

The proposal seeks to merge with the landscape. It creates open spaces for a range of activities. The architects also create spaces for individual activities. There’re also different intersections of activities and meetings points. This unique design creates a space where new connections across all interests and ages.
