When you think about a romantic bedroom design sometimes it becomes too girly. Before you get married, you are a single woman but then you have to share your bedroom with a man, you have to follow these tips :

1. Budget : You have to think it first, how much money you have to spend and then think about the changes you want to make. There are lots of ways to cut corners. Instead of buying new bedcovers, curtains, etc., visit your local fabric store or search through thrift stores. You can check online auction for deal as well. If you have found items that you like in the stores, watch for sale first before you buy.

2. Design : You can design your room based on your imagination. You can browse in the internet, magazine, or design books.

3. Color Choice : we often consider romantic bedroom design is related with pink color. You have to erase this color in your mind. There’re so many other choice that say romance.
* Neutral Color : If you choose neutral color for your wall, you have to add more romance with thee comforter and accessories. Rich reds, dark blues, golds, and chocolates in layers will bring the room to life. Combine a couple of these colors for extra pop. You can also use variations of the same color to create a balanced yet contrasting appearance.
* Deep Color : This color would be a great accent, but choose a complimentary yet contrasting color in the comforter, curtains, etc. You can choose a jewel tone in red, green, blue or even eggplant. It would add instant drama to any room.

4. Furniture : To make it more romantic, you have to use furniture which is rich woods of mahogany, cherry, or walnut. Sleigh beds can instantly transform a plain bedroom into a romantic especially if you choose lush bedding and lots of beautiful pillows. Don’t forget to add a comfortable armchair in the corner with a beautiful lamp to read by.

5. Accessories : Add candles, aromatherapy oil burners, flowers, plants, and beautiful throw rug and layered window treatments that allow you to let the sun in or create a dark haven for an afternoon nap. The accessories and accent pieces you choose can really play up the whole romantic theme.
