The University Library a House on a Tree

This is a unique house, ‘House on a tree’. This blue house was designed by Warsaw Art-curator Collective konarska-konarski.  This is a public installation at the university of warsaw library.  This house consists of two parts. One house is perched on one of the library’s trees, while another is hanging in the library’s main atrium. The forex boards were used  to ensure that the tree does not get damaged with the weight of the house.

The aim of the project was to raise awareness about sustainable development. The house on a tree floats effortlessly above the day-to-day activities. This house hovers in an environment protected from the whims of nature, cradled in the confines of a store of knowledge.
