This building is located within the large commercial development along the Sanlitun Street in the centre of Beijing. This building is called The Opposite House. It’s a “green glass box” which expresses as the urban forest in the vibrant street scene of Sanlitun. The name of this building refers to the guest house that sits on the opposite of a traditional courtyard house.
The glass walls are imprinted with a green silk screen print. This beautiful building is a vibrant mix of modern and traditional. All the spaces are surrounded with a large central atrium. There’s also traditional Chinese furniture with more than 6,000 drawers. The ground floor lobby is used for a contemporary art gallery with changing exhibition.
The Opposite House also has 98 studio apartments and 2 story penthouse. We can also go to the Mesh Bar to have cocktails. Then we can also go to the Bei Restaurant, Sureño, or Village Café to have lunch or dinner. At the mid night, you can also go to the Punk nightclub. Besides that, you can also swim in the luxury 22 meter long clad swimming pool.
