The project of this building provides the opportunity to convert a former barren parking lot into a student-centered place for thriving life. The project included the design of a 66,500 sq ft academic center creation of a new green space.

This green building is the nation first’s business school designed specifically for women. The building is oriented to capitalize to a natural light and views. About 90% of the indoor space receives natural daylight. The design also includes a partially vegetated roof and a high-albedo. A high-albedo is a low-emissivity roof to mitigate storm water runoff and heat-island effect.

About 90% of construction waste was recycled.  Recycled steel, carpet, and ceiling tiles are also used throughout. Bamboo is used for millwork, office desk surface, and in the lobby. Then, the high-efficiency lighting and control systems can reduce energy expenditures and incorporate telephone, data, and fire-alarm systems.
