This house becomes more modern and has more natural light after renovation. This new design was created by Ellen Honigstock Architects. The architects enlarged windows at the upper floor in order to bring light into the hose. The windows at Parlor floor were replaced with tall French doors and balconies overlooking the garden. Besides that, the skylights were also added to the new third floor master suite. It makes more natural light come in this modern interior renovation.
There’re two wood burning fireplaces in the basement. The basement has direct access to the garden. It was reclaimed and renovated to include a new custom kitchen and dining area. All the wood stairs and baluster were restored. Then, the floorboard were salvaged and refinished by hand.
