Meakins House In Coastal Victoria

New house which is located in coastal Victoria, Australia have been completed by Australian studio b.e. Architecture. This house is set on 100 acres, this site was bare of vegetation except for a 100-year-old row of Cypress trees. This house is called Meakins road which is surrounded by a steel and timber grid. The frame is made from timber which is surrounded this building, creating a veranda. The extensive steel and timber exo-skeleton were designed in response to the traditional wrap-around veranda.


The design of this simple house is based around a series of sunken walled courtyards. It is used to create immediately usable outdoor areas in the windswept environment. The building’s position is back to the driveway. It is revealed gradually when someone is lead through the structure. The main bedroom is separated from the rest of the house by a pond. We can go there by a suspended glazed walkway. This main sleeping area has a library.
