Hermanos Amoro´s Public School which already had six separate buildings. It is located in Las Mesas, Cuenca, Spain. The wall’s exterior are painted bright red and featured round circular. The red emphasizes a more conceptual approach to the building. You’ll find blue metal sculpture in the shape of large donuts is inserted in the courtyard. There’s also a blue metallic cactus that appears in the entrance courtyard as a surrealist element.

This school needed to extend the building, redistributing the existing one and expanding the scope of the original program: a new library, some multipurpose classrooms, administrative areas, etc. The architect wanted to create a school to be a habitable “toy”, to be educational, functional and to meet the demands of the program. The most singular interior space is the library. There’s a space double the high with colours not previously used, yellow on the pavement and black c on the main front. The total cost of this extended school was 3.600.000 € (VAT included). This is low budget to extend the school. This public school will make the students enjoy to school here.
