It is a a vacation home by archimania. It’s located on a wooded lakefront site set in a traditional subdivision in Savannah, TN, USA. This home takes advantage of panoramic views of the Lake and surrounding forest. This modern resident has enough living and sleeping space to accommodate a large family. The west side is a neighboring home. To the east is an untouched nature reserve. Its southern face fronts the lake and a private boat dock. Then, to the north there’s a driveway accesses a public subdivision street.

This residence is embedded into the steeply sloping site in order to maximize the panoramic views. It also reduces the home’s visual impact from the street. The entry pathway splits the main volume of the structure into distinct public and private zones. This pathway leads visitors through the site and into the home. There’s the low sloped roof of the public zone that directs toward views of the forest and the private zone opens toward the water.
